1. Local-First Data Principle

UlarMark is designed as a local-first application. This means:

• No Cloud Storage: The images you open, annotations you create, and documents you save stay locally on your device.
• No Data Transmission: We do not transmit your images, annotations, or documents to any external servers.
• You Own Your Data: You have complete control over your data. We cannot access, read, or modify your images or the markup you create within the app.

2. Information Collection and Use

Personal Information

UlarMark does not require you to provide any personal information (such as name, email, or address) to use its features. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).

Analytics

UlarMark does not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage across apps or websites.

3. File and Clipboard Access

UlarMark only accesses images and files that you explicitly open (via the Open panel, Finder "Open With", or drag-and-drop) or that you place on the clipboard for annotation. It only writes files you explicitly save or export. The app is sandboxed and cannot reach files you have not chosen.

4. App Store Purchases

UlarMark is a paid app purchased through the Mac App Store. Your purchase information is handled securely by Apple. We do not have access to your credit card details or billing address.

5. Security

Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your own system's security measures. We recommend keeping your operating system up to date and using standard security practices.

6. Children's Privacy

UlarMark is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all UlarMark data is stored locally, removing your data is entirely under your control: deleting your saved documents, removing the app's sandbox container, or uninstalling the app from your device will remove the corresponding local data. We do not retain copies on any server.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
